I'm having trouble with Deluge, a program I've been using for years now. I haven't changed any of the settings, but about two weeks ago, it stopped working. None of my torrents download, and the bottom says "No Incoming Connections". In googling for this problem, I have turned off uPnP, to no avail. Especially frustrating when I want to download files in a series, 1 of 10, 2 of 10, 3 of 10, etc etc, and each time, I have to navigate to the directory where to save them. With uTorrent, it would remember the most recent directory. How do I make Deluge do this? Alternatively, is it safe to use uTorrent again? · Re: Torrents don't download even though there are seeders Post by Gnildryw» Sat am Update: changing the libtorrent just broke deluge instead (all I did was back up the www.doorway.ru file and copied over the new).
What is Deluge? Deluge is a lightweight, Free Software, cross-platform BitTorrent client. Full Encryption. WebUI. Plugin System. Now what i want is to change the owner of the old download folder. Edit: I dont know if it is important but the Torrent folder is in a ntfs partition that i share with a Microsoft SO that i use sometimes. The problem is probably caused by something deluge tries to use, maybe sparse files for preallocation or some other feature supported by. When a torrent has multiple files, is there a way to download just 1 or 2 files without Deluge deciding the torrent is done and moving it to the done folder? With uTorrent I can select all the files with control-A, then unselect a couple files, and then right-click the still-selected files and choose "Don't Download" from the context menu.
Re: Deluge Disappeared Now I Can't Download It Again. Thanks for reporting back. Sounds strange indeed, but you can always check if it's still installed on-disk and just shortcut gone, by looking into 'C:\Program files (x86)\Deluge' as is default install location for latest official deluge for windows, on x64 systems, and if is in add/remove. However Deluge will mark ALL the files as "Do not download" include the couple that were NOT selected. Compounding the problem, Deluge will immediately see that there aren't any (more) files to download and move all the partial files to the done folder. What is Deluge?
